These terms are an agreement between you and Learnix Technologies ("Learnix", "we"). By creating an account or using https://learnix.dtr.co.ke you agree to them. Please read them together with our Privacy Policy and Refund Policy.
1. Your account
- You must give accurate details and keep your password private. You are responsible for activity on your account.
- One account is for one person. Sharing an account or its Pro access with others is not allowed.
- You must be 18 or older, or use Learnix with a parent's or guardian's permission.
2. Free and Pro access
- Creating an account is free and lets you view course overviews, your dashboard and the site assistant.
- Learnix Pro costs KES 999 per month, paid by M-Pesa. It unlocks every Pro lesson, practice, workspace and certificate for one month from the date of payment.
- Pro does not renew automatically. We email you before it ends; to continue, you pay again. Paying early adds the new month to the end of your current one.
- We may change the price in future. A new price never affects a month you have already paid for.
- Refunds are covered by our Refund Policy.
3. Using Learnix fairly
You agree not to:
- copy, resell, publish or share our lessons, videos, practice files or other course content outside Learnix;
- try to access other people's accounts, the admin area or our systems, or interfere with the site's security or performance;
- use automated tools to scrape content or create accounts;
- submit projects or messages that are unlawful, abusive, or copied from someone else;
- use Learnix to carry out scams or other harmful activities taught in our safety lessons.
We may suspend or close accounts that break these rules. Where the breach is serious (for example, sharing paid content), no refund is given.
4. Content and certificates
- All course content belongs to Learnix Technologies or its licensors. You get a personal, non-transferable licence to use it for your own learning.
- Work you submit (such as project links) remains yours; you allow us to review it and show it to reviewers.
- Learnix certificates confirm that you completed a course on our platform. They are not government or university qualifications.
5. The Learnix Tutor and assistant
The tutor and assistant answer from our lesson content to help you learn. Their answers may occasionally be incomplete — for important matters (tax, legal, medical or financial decisions) always confirm with official sources such as KRA or a qualified professional.
6. Availability and changes
We work to keep Learnix available and accurate, but we do not guarantee it will be free of interruptions or errors. We may update, add or retire courses and features. If we permanently remove a service you have paid for, we will offer a fair pro-rata refund.
7. Limitation of liability
Learnix provides education, not guaranteed results — we cannot promise a job, income or exam outcome. To the extent the law allows, our total liability to you for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the three months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under the Consumer Protection Act, 2012 that cannot be excluded.
8. Ending your account
You can delete your account at any time from your profile. We may close accounts that break these terms or that have been inactive for a long time, after giving notice where possible.
9. Law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of Kenya. Please contact us first so we can try to resolve any problem quickly and fairly; if we cannot, disputes will be handled by the courts of Kenya.
10. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. We will change the date above and, for important changes, notify registered users. Continuing to use Learnix after a change means you accept the updated terms.
